A Few words…

We met Tom Pfaeffle not quite a year ago. We setup shop in his studio, and by the end of the day Tom wasn’t just our Engineer or our Producer, he was one of the guys. That’s just how he was.
He fell in with us pretty easy and just as easy with our music. He knew what it was supposed to sound like and how to get us to do make it sound that way. He knew when to steer us and when to let us run away with it. He had a gift of capturing a good take, but also of capturing the feel of it and exactly what the song was trying to say. It became evident very quickly that Tom was putting just as much into our music as we were. At that point He wasn’t just our Engineer and Producer and new friend, he was a member of the band.
He made our time in the studio easy for us. He knew when to flip us shit, and he knew when to put nose to the grindstone. In the end, Tom made us sound great, but he wanted to top it. He handed us our masters and told us he wanted to produce our next album. I’ve had my share of compliments as a musician, but having Tom Pfaeffle tell us he wants to work more with us is the best one I’ve ever received.
Thanks for one of the best experiences of my life Tom. You will be missed as a sound engineer, as a producer, as a collaborator, and most of all as a friend. Know that our love is always with you.
Rest in Peace.
